Celebrating Nurses’ Day 2023
05.08.2023

May is filled with celebrations for nurses: May 6th was National Nurses Day, and this week (May 6-12) is National Nurses Week. We’re excited to recognize the nurses at Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates (CNSA) and their positive impact on patients, our practice, and the healthcare industry as a whole.

At CNSA, we have 80 nurses who care for patients and support physicians across our 10 locations. Our patients give us feedback on platforms including Google, Healthgrades, Vitals, and social media channels that demonstrate our nurses' life-changing, compassionate care.

Enjoy reading through just some of our patients’ stories that recognize the nurses around our offices!

“I haven’t felt this good in many years.”

A patient who received care after experiencing intense back pain appreciated the nurses at our Concord office

“I think the thing I liked the most was how concerned they were about wanting to make me feel better. When I went there, I was in a lot of pain. I haven't felt this good in many years.

“Their nurses are also a big part of what I liked. They are very friendly and try to answer any question you may have. Thanks for putting me back in the saddle.”

“Your support and understanding was greatly appreciated.”

At the Gastonia location, a patient was impressed with the level of care given by the surgical nurse both before and after their procedures.

“Your surgical nurse and staff are extremely caring and supportive before and after injection pain procedures. Highly recommend you and your team.”

“I didn’t feel like a pincushion, but a patient with pain.”

A nurse at our Huntersville location was also recommended for their personal, attentive care.

“My experience was more than friendly, professional, and very much appreciated due to the personal interaction. I didn’t feel like a pincushion, but a patient with pain. I was in and out quickly but not rushed. I would rate the doctor and nurse a 10+.

“Thank you for making me feel like somebody cared.”

One patient at the Greensboro Pain Management Clinic noted the professionalism and care she and her husband received from every team member, especially the nurses.

“The receptionist and the nurses were very nice and professional and personal at the same time. Thank you for making me feel like somebody cared.”

“The nurse was very professional.”

Before going through surgery, a patient at our Charlotte location noted the high quality of the nurse who saw them.

“Very caring office from the time we walked in! The front office was kind, our check-in was easy, and the nurse was very professional and treated us with respect.”

“Exemplary in every way.”

At the Matthews office, a patient sang the praises of their care team with some very kind words.

“My nurse was extremely kind, generous-spirited, and an excellent listener.”

“The nurse was exceptional.”

A nurse was also commended by a patient who visited the Charlotte office.

“Everyone was very nice and very prompt. The nurse was exceptional, and overall it was a wonderful experience.”

“His nurses were so compassionate and kind.”

A patient seen by Dr. Sanjiv Lakhia at the Rock Hill office noted that the nurses contributed to their positive experience at CNSA.

“My nurses were so compassionate and kind. I could not have asked for a better experience.”

“Special thanks to the nurse who looked out for me after the injections.”

A patient of Dr. Vemuri at the Ballantyne office made a point to send a special thanks to their nurse for excellent care following their injections.

“Wonderful bedside manner.”

Another patient at the Matthews office commended the nurses’ great approach toward patients.
