Biography

Ellen Radeker, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for neurosurgery, spine health, and whole-person care. With a strong foundation in ICU and trauma care, Ellen brings a detailed, proactive approach to managing complex patient needs. She is especially interested in post-operative recovery and rehabilitation, and she values empowering patients through education and consistent support.

Ellen earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Galen College of Nursing. Her clinical approach is rooted in compassionate communication and holistic support, always aiming to treat patients like family and help them feel confident in their care journey. She believes that small, consistent habits and patient accountability can lead to major health improvements.

Ellen grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and spent several years in Tampa, Florida, before settling in Charlotte, North Carolina. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through CrossFit at QC Fit, traveling, and trying new restaurants around the city. She’s a proud mom to her son, Nixon, and a dedicated dog mom to three pups: Maggie, Badger, and Oliver.

Ellen joined Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates to be part of a mission-driven team known for clinical excellence, innovation, and comprehensive care. She is especially passionate about helping patients recover from spine and neurosurgical procedures by building personalized care plans that include pain management, physical therapy collaboration, and long-term functional improvement.
