Biography

Lindsay takes a whole-body approach to patient care, always striving to treat the whole person—not just the condition. To her, “putting patient care first” means showing empathy, compassion, and respect at every stage of treatment while also providing clear medical guidance and emotional support.

Lindsay's advice to every patient is simple yet powerful: Advocate for yourself and ask questions when concerns arise. She believes that staying informed and involved in your care leads to better outcomes and a more empowering experience.

Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling. She plays intramural volleyball and recently taught herself to crochet—she’s currently working on a baby blanket for her soon-to-be nephew! A Raleigh native and lifelong Carolina Hurricanes hockey fan, Lindsay's love for her city and her hobbies make her a relatable and approachable healthcare professional. She now lives with her 6-year-old rescue pup, Sadie, who she adopted in 2020.

Lindsay's introduction to CNSA during a clinical rotation in PA school was a turning point in her career. From day one, she felt welcomed and supported by the entire team. The collaborative, hands-on learning environment and commitment to compassionate care at CNSA made it clear that it was the right place for her to begin and grow her career.

She is deeply committed to expanding access to care, particularly for underserved populations and communities with limited healthcare resources. Lindsay's passion for this work is palpable, and she is excited to work alongside Dr. Wait and provide comprehensive care to both pediatric and adult patients—building strong relationships and deepening her expertise in complex neurosurgical care.

Lindsay speaks Conversational German.
