Biography

As a physician assistant at Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates, Melissa Johnson, PA-C is a hospital-based physician assistant and supports physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with spine disorders. Melissa has a special interest in non-surgical spine care management.

Melissa’s philosophy of care is to always listen to patients and show them compassion. She also believes that physical therapy is vital to both non-operative and post-operative care.

For Melissa, working at Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates means providing excellent care to patients in the region. She was particularly drawn in by the fact that it is an all-inclusive spine and brain care practice, and that the providers love what they do and it shows. Melissa is proud to work at a practice where every provider enjoys helping patients, particularly in some of the most difficult times of a patient and their family’s lives.
