Biography

Taya’s passion for healthcare is deeply personal. Her journey began when her older sister was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 10. Watching how that diagnosis changed her sister’s life, and witnessing the compassion and dedication of her care team, inspired Taya to pursue a career where she could support patients and families through challenging diagnoses.

As a physician assistant, Taya approaches every patient with empathy, kindness, and attention to detail. She believes in building trust through open communication and encourages patients to be active participants in their care by asking questions and sharing concerns.

Taya grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, a city known for bourbon and horse racing. She is the youngest of three siblings and enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew. Outside of work, she has a strong creative background and enjoys oil and watercolor painting, continuing a passion for art that began during her college years. She is also actively involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and participates in fundraising efforts through both the Kentucky and North Carolina chapters.
