The Amazing Story of Emma Grace Who Suffered a Brain Hemorrhage Caused by a Ruptured Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM)

At the age of nine, Emma Grace suffered a brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Our practice neurosurgeons, Joe Bernard, MD, and Tim Adamson, MD, performed life-saving procedures to remove her AVM. Nine years later, Emma Grace was accepted to NC State on a full merit scholarship.
